About the role
As a Tourism Information Officer, you'll be at the frontline of the visitor experience, welcoming guests, answering enquiries, and providing helpful, accurate information to both visitors and locals.

You'll create positive, lasting impressions by offering great recommendations, promoting local attractions and services, and ensuring every interaction is warm, professional and informative.

You're a natural people-person who enjoys connecting with others and creating great experiences. You have a genuine pride in Wairoa and love sharing what makes our district special. With strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude, you thrive in a customer-focused environment and are committed to delivering a high standard of service.
